MaxaltMLT Uses This medication is used to treat acute migraine attacks. This drug does not prevent future migraine attacks. Notes Do not share this medication with others. Medical tests will be done to monitor for drug side effects. Storage Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Photos maxalt no prescription needed, Maxalt (rizatriptan) 5 mg Maxalt (rizatriptan) 10 mg How To Use HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION: This drug is taken by mouth as directed for migraine attacks. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. If no relief occurs after the first dose, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Doses are generally separated by at least 2 hours. Do not exceed 30 mg in a 24 hour period. Side Effects Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea or headache may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Unlikely but report promptly mental/mood changes or chest or neck/jaw discomfort. Very unlikely but report promptly irregular or fast heartbeat, unusual weakness or vision changes, cold, tingling or numb hands and feet, stomach pain, bloody diarrhea, fainting or unsteadiness, any swelling, trouble breathing, itching or rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Precautions Tell your doctor your medical history, including any allergies, heart or blood vessel disease/stroke, kidney, liver or intestinal disease, high blood pressure or cholesterol, diabetes, family history of heart problems or smoking history. Limit alcohol intake, as it may aggravate drug side effects. Caution is advised when performing tasks requiring alertness (e.g., driving), as this drug may cause drowsiness or dizziness. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known whether this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Missed Dose Not applicable. Drug Interactions Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially propranolol, other "serotonin-type" drugs such as SSRI antidepressants (e.g., fluoxetine, sertraline, paroxetine, fluvoxamine), nefazodone, venlafaxine, other "triptan" drugs (such as sumatriptan), MAO Inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, furazolidone, moclobemide, tranylcypromine, phenelzine), sibutramine, tramadol, "ergot-type" drugs such as (ergotamine, dihydroergotamine, methysergide) or drugs that cause drowsiness such as sedatives, tranquilizers, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines, certain muscle relaxants, anti-anxiety and anti-seizure drugs or certain antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine) contained in prescription and non-prescription products. Do not use this drug within 24 hours of any "ergot-type" or "serotonin-type" drugs. Do not use this drug together with an MAO Inhibitor or within two weeks of stopping an MAO Inhibitor. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Share and Enjoy!

This is a miracle drug for me!
