This vitamin combination may also help treat certain heart and blood vessel diseases by reducing your body's level of a certain substance (homocysteine). High homocysteine levels may be linked to narrowing of the arteries. Lowering homocysteine levels may possibly decrease your risk of heart attack, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease.

- Do not share this medication with others.Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., homocysteine levels) may be performed from time to time to monitor your progress or check for side effects.

- Maintain a well-balanced diet and follow any dietary guidelines as directed by your doctor.
- B vitamins, including folic acid, are naturally found in leafy greens and other vegetables, and citrus fruits.
- You will also find folic acid in enriched grains such as bread, pasta and cereal.
Storage
- Store in the original container at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
- Do not store in the bathroom.

How To Use
- Take 1 to 2 tablets by mouth with or without food, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor.
- If stomach upset occurs, it may help to take this product with food.Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it.

Side Effects

Precautions
- Before taking this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to any of its ingredients; or if you have any other allergies.Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: low blood count (e.g., pernicious anemia, megaloblastic anemia).This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery.
- Limit alcoholic beverages.This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.
- Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.This drug passes into breast milk.
- Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
- If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not double the dose to catch up.
Drug Interactions
- Your healthcare professionals (e.g., doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of any possible drug interactions and may be monitoring you for them.
