Do not crush or chew this medication before swallowing. This timed-release product must be swallowed whole. Side Effects This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Precautions Be sure your doctor is informed of your complete medical history and present condition before taking this medicine. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products can be very dangerous and even fatal. Keep this medication out of the reach of children.
