Hydroxyzine Pamoate Vistaril Uses Treats anxiety, tension, nervousness, nausea, vomiting, allergies, skin rash, hives, and itching.Belongs to a class of drugs called antihistamines. Storage Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Do not freeze. How To Use APPEARANCE: Capsule, Liquid. Your doctor will tell you how much to take and how often. Take this medicine exactly as your doctor ordered. May be taken with or without food or milk. Shake the oral liquid well before using. Carefully measure your dose with a marked measuring spoon or medicine cup. Side Effects Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects: Seizures or tremors Wheezing or trouble breathing Tightness in the chest Precautions You should not use this medicine if you have ever had an unusual or allergic reaction to hydroxyzine.
