Uses
This medication is used to increase blood flow to the brain and treat changes in mood, memory or behavior.
Notes
  • Do not share this medication with others.

Storage
  • Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
  • Keep oral solution from freezing.


How To Use
  • Take this medication exactly as prescribed.Sublingual tablets are to be placed under the tongue to be dissolved.
  • Do not swallow them and do not eat, drink or smoke while they are dissolving.It may take several weeks before you see any improvement from the medication.
  • Do not stop taking this medication without your doctor's approval.

Side Effects
  • Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rashes, blurred vision, dizziness, fainting, flushing, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, stuffy or runny nose.If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: blood pressure problems, heart problems, behavioral problems, liver disease, any allergies.This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.
  • Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.It is not known if this medication passes into breast milk.
  • Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose
  • If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
  • Check with your doctor if 2 or more doses have been missed.

Drug Interactions
  • Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: nitrates (e.g., isosorbide, nitroglycerin), dopamine, macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin), efavirenz, saquinavir, triptan drugs (e.g., naratriptan, sumatriptan).Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
