Uses
Treats canker sores, minor mouth wounds, or swollen gums caused by braces, dentures, dental procedures, or accidental injury to your mouth.

Storage
  • Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
  • Ask your pharmacist, doctor, or health caregiver about the best way to dispose of any outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed. Keep all medicine away from children and never share your medicine with anyone.


How To Use
  • APPEARANCE: Gel/Jelly, Liquid. Your doctor will tell you how much of this medicine to use and how often.
  • Do not use more medicine or use it more often than your doctor tells you to. If you are using this medicine without a prescription, follow the instructions on the medicine label. Place the liquid form of this medicine in your mouth but do not swallow it.
  • Hold and swish the liquid in your mouth for at least one minute and then spit it out. To use the gel/jelly form of this medicine, cut the tube open with a clean pair of scissors.
  • Use the mark on the applicator tip as a guide for where to cut.
  • Apply several drops to the affected area in your mouth.
  • Hold the gel in your mouth for at least one minute and then spit it out. Use this medicine after meals and at bedtime, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
  • Do not use the medicine more than 4 times daily or for longer than 7 days unless your doctor tells you to.

Side Effects
  • Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects: Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing.

Precautions
  • You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to hydrogen peroxide.


Drug Interactions
  • Do not swallow this medicine.
  • If a child or adult accidentally swallows more than 2 teaspoons of this medicine, call your doctor or a poison control center right away. Children should be supervised while using this medicine.
  • This medicine should not be used on a child under 2 years of age. If your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse, call your doctor.
