Notes
- This medication comes in a variety of dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting tablets or capsules and a syrup.
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend the best product for you.
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.
- Do not store in the bathroom.

How To Use
- Sprinkle total contents of capsule on a small amount of soft food (e.g., jelly, applesauce) just before eating.
- Capsule contents should not be crushed or chewed.
- The capsule may also be swallowed whole with a full glass of water.
- Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise.
- Do not take this medication for a chronic persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma.
- If the cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult your doctor.
Side Effects
- This medication may cause stomach upset or nausea.
- These effects should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication.
- If these effects persist or become worse inform your doctor.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- If you have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, or diabetes, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any combination guaifenesin products.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
