This medication is used to treat vaginal fungal infections.
Notes
- This medication is prescribed for your current condition only.
- Do not use it for another infection or share it with someone else.
- Another infection later on may require a different medication.
Storage
- Store at room temperature away from sunlight.

How To Use
- HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION: Follow the instructions provided with the medication.
- Fill the applicator that comes with the cream to the level indicated or unwrap a tablet or suppository, wet it with lukewarm water and place it on the applicator as shown in the printed instructions.
- Insert the applicator as directed and push the plunger to release the medication.
- If the applicator is reusable, pull it apart and clean it with soap and warm water after each use.
- Use a sanitary napkin to prevent clothing stains.
- Do not use a tampon since it will absorb the drug.
- Do not douche without consulting your doctor.
- Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed.
- If you get your menstrual period, continue treatment.
Side Effects
- This medication may cause burning, stinging or itching of the skin or vagina.
- If these symptoms persist or get worse, contact your doctor.
- If you experience stomach cramps, skin rashes, hives or headache, stop using this medication and contact your doctor.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor if you are using a diaphragm as birth control.
- Some suppositories can interact with the latex in diaphragms.
- This medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy only if clearly needed.
- It is not known if this medication appears in breast milk.
- Consult with your doctor before breast-feeding.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
Drug Interactions
- Be sure your doctor knows what medicines you use (both prescription and nonprescription) and if you have any allergies.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
