Ganite Uses This medication is used to treat high levels of calcium in the blood often associated with cancer. Storage Store at room temperature away from sunlight. How To Use HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION: This medication is diluted in fluid and slowly infused into a vein. This medication is usually given with large amounts of fluids. Your intake and output of fluids will be monitored closely while taking this medication. Side Effects This medication may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, or metallic taste. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop breathing difficulties, rapid heartbeat, increased thirst, changes in vision, ringing in the ears or have trouble hearing while taking this medication. Blood tests may be done frequently while taking this medication to evaluate its effectiveness and check for side effects.
