Uses

How To Use
  • Take this product by mouth as directed.
  • Follow all directions on the product package.
  • If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.This product may cause dependence, especially if it has been used regularly for a long time or if it has been used in high doses.
  • In such cases, if you suddenly stop this product, withdrawal reactions may occur.
  • Such reactions can include nervousness, headache, trouble sleeping, joint pain, or muscle stiffness.
  • Report any such reactions to your doctor immediately.If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.

Side Effects
  • Nausea, heartburn, bloating, or gas may occur.
  • If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor immediately.Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: mouth sores, fast/pounding heartbeat.A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare.
  • However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • Before taking feverfew, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to plants in the Asteraceae/daisy family such as ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, and daisies; or if you have any other allergies.Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol.
  • Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence, or liver disease.
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist about using this product safely.Feverfew is not recommended for use in children.
  • Consult your doctor or pharmacist.Feverfew is not recommended for use during pregnancy.
  • Consult your doctor before using this product.Because of possible risk to the nursing infant, breast-feeding while using this product is not recommended.
  • Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose
  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
  • If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not double the dose to catch up.

Drug Interactions
  • Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with your doctor or pharmacist first.Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially of: "blood thinners" (e.g., warfarin), NSAIDs (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, naproxen).Check the label on all nonprescription pain relievers or fever reducers because they may contain NSAIDs such as aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen.
