Reason: possibly precancerous scaly solar keratosis Date: 30 December 2009
Side Effects
Mostly as described in information sheet - just the usual expected effects.

Additional Thoughts
What is NOT explained - in the instructions or by my physician is what do do once treatment is effected and thick scaly patches occur on the skin with the healing. Does one treat this in any way eg - washing, or use of cosmetic creams to speed up removal of scaling, improve healing etc etc. No information on this is available WHATSOEVER. So I will have to get an appointment to see medico again. This can mean COST. This is not satisfactory. Any advice please ? - Thanks, Robert.

Essentially no side effects. The cream will cause the precancerous area to turn red and crusty. After 4 weeks of treatment I feel comfortable knowing that it has removed any potential cancer cells.
