Uses
Treats symptoms of stiffness or uncontrolled muscle movements in the neck that are caused by a condition called cervical dystonia.

Storage
  • If you store this medicine at home, keep it in the refrigerator.
  • Do not freeze or shake the medicine. This medicine is sometimes mixed with saline.
  • Any mixed medicine must be thrown out if you do not use it within 4 hours after mixing. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.


How To Use
  • APPEARANCE: Injectable. Your doctor will prescribe your exact dose and tell you how often it should be given.
  • This medicine is given as a shot into one of your muscles. A nurse or other trained health professional will give you this medicine.
  • It may also be given by a home health caregiver. Never share your medicine with anyone.

Side Effects
  • Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects: Muscle weakness or paralysis that occurs several weeks after you receive this medicine Sudden vision changes, trouble speaking, muscle weakness, or inability to move Trouble swallowing

Precautions
  • You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to any type of botulinum toxin.

Missed Dose
  • Call your doctor or home health caregiver for instructions.

Drug Interactions
  • Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have trouble swallowing, or have any type of nerve or muscle disorder such as ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome.
