Reason: Was diagnosed w/Blepharospasm. Botox treatment for a year did not work. Now eyes have been closed ever since right after symptoms, Dec. 2008. Been tested for myasthenia gravis. Tests were negative. Neurologist(s) don't know what I have now. Also developed Date: 1 September 2010
Side Effects
I am currently experiencing severe times of parts of body itching, expecially scalp. Constantly stay thirsty and chapped lips. Having spasms in feet and legs., also fingers drawing and some numbness. Since Botox treatments started in 2008, have started noticing hair coming out.Now both eyes are closed, with very infrequent small peep hole in left eye. My eyes are now very itchy and water frequently.Have episodes of biting inside of mouth when eating. Also notice at times when I swallow, food takes longer to go down.

Additional Thoughts
Would not recommend Botox for any type of treatment. Dr. said it can stay in your system up to 5 years.
