Arco-Lase Uses This medication contains enzymes which help digest and absorb foods. It is used to treat symptoms of various digestive disorders. Storage Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom. How To Use This medication works best if taken with or after meals. Antacids may hinder the effects of this medication. Do not take an antacid at the same time as this medication. Wait at least two hours between administration. Side Effects This medication may cause diarrhea, constipation, stomach ache, nausea, bloating, gas, loss of appetite, headache, fatigue or dizziness the first few days as your body adjusts to it. If these effects persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop a skin rash or severe stomach distress while taking this medication. This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution when driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Precautions This medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor doctor. It is not known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Missed Dose Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the next dose. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.
