Uses
Used during a CT scan or other type of x-ray test for cancer in your abdominal area. This medicine helps the cancer show more clearly on the scan.



How To Use
  • APPEARANCE: Injectable. Your doctor will prescribe your exact dose and tell you how often it should be given.
  • This medicine is given through a needle placed in one of your veins. A nurse or other trained health professional will give you this medicine. You will have your scan about 2 to 5 hours after the medicine is injected.

Side Effects
  • Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects: Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing. Chest tightness or severe cough.

Precautions
  • You should not receive this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to arcitumomab, or to products made from mice.


Drug Interactions
  • Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Make sure your doctor knows if you have high blood pressure. Make sure your doctor knows if you have ever had a test using this medicine. Make sure any doctor or dentist who treats you knows that you are using this medicine.
  • This medicine may affect the results of certain medical tests.
