ADCw/Fluoride

Uses
Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy. Fluoride is used to prevent dental cavities.
Notes
  • It is important to keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
  • Accidental ingestion of large amounts of fluoride can cause severe stomach upset.
  • Vitamins are contained in the foods we eat.
  • It is important to maintain a well balanced diet.
  • Check the fluoride content of your water supply by asking local town or city officials.
  • Fluoride supplements are not necessary if water contains greater than 0.7 ppm.
  • If your water supply changes, check with your doctor or dentist to determine if extra fluoride is still necessary.

Storage
  • Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight.
  • Store the liquid form in the original plastic container.
  • Do not store in the bathroom.


How To Use
  • Take as directed.
  • Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products.
  • Consult your pharmacist.
  • If using drops, measure the dose carefully using the dropper provided.
  • Drops may be swallowed directly or added to liquid or mixed with a small amount of food such as applesauce.

Side Effects
  • Most people can take this medication with minimal or no side effects.
  • Stomach upset may occur.
  • If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • This drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

Missed Dose
